VISUAL BASIC PROGRAMMING
UNIT – I
Introduction to visual basic, Integrated Development Environment(IDE) features, Event Driven Programming, Objects, Methods, events, modules, forms, properties, form, event, form method, form controls.
Data types, Variables, constants, operator precedence, arrays, user defined data types.
UNIT – II
Control flow statement: if-then, select-case, for-next, while wend, do loop, statement.
Visual basic controls: Frame, Checkbox, Option Button, List Box, Combo Box Scroll Bar, Drive ListBox File List Box, Timer Status Bar, Image List, Tree view.
UNIT – III
Creating MDI (Multiple Document Interface) From – parent and child form. Menu editor, menu properties, creating the popup menu, dynamic menus. Creating a toolbar.
UNIT- IV
Data Controls, Data Control Events, Data Bound List and Combo Box Control. Data Access Object (DAO), Opening a database, Recordest, different type of recordset: table- type recordest, dynaset type recordest, snapshort type recordest modifying, deleting and searching records.
UNIT – V
ACTIVE X OBJECT, ADO OBJECT MODEL, Data reports, data report Controls. ADO connection and recordest objects, connection & closing the database connection creating, previewing Printing and exporting data report.
